Indian spinner Kuldeep underwent back surgery in Germany: Did not go to Australia tour due to injury, expected to return by February

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has undergone back surgery in Germany. He was troubled with back injury. Chinaman bowler posted some photos on social media on Tuesday night, in one photo he is seen in the hospital. Kuldeep wrote on this post- ‘A few days in Munich to get better.’

29 year old Kuldeep was retained in the Delhi Capitals team a few days ago. Delhi has retained him for Rs 1.25 crore. Kuldeep played the last Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru, then due to injury he was not selected for the Australia tour.

BCCI had mentioned the injury BCCI selectors had mentioned Kuldeep’s injury while releasing the team for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting from November 22. He was sent to the National Center of Excellence after the Bengaluru test, where medical experts advised him to undergo surgery.

Expected to return in February Kuldeep Yadav can return to the field by the month of February. The Indian team has to participate in the Champions Trophy this month. Kuldeep’s return will be important for the team from the point of view of this ODI tournament. If this does not happen then it will prove to be a shock for Team India.

Kuldeep Yadav is performing well in white ball cricket. He was a part of the Indian team that won the T-20 World Cup on June 29.

The first match of Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will start from November 22 at Optus Stadium, Perth. What will be the combination of the Indian team in the match is a big question. The team can field with five batsmen, one wicketkeeper, two all-rounders (one spin and one pace) and three pacers.
