The Indore police arrested three members of an interstate thief gang, who stole millions of rupees of jewelery from a businessman’s house in Srinagar. The accused took refuge in Maurabi, Gujarat after fleeing Delhi from flight.

The accused have confessed to stealing millions of jewelery from the businessman’s house in Srinagar. After the incident, the accused fled to Delhi on a flight. The gang leader is absconding. The accused have accepted stealing in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
According to DCP (Zone-2) acting Vishwakarma, 20 days ago, the businessman’s deserted house was stolen in Srinagar (Extension). When the police took out CCTV footage, the CCTV footage of the rogues ran by putting hoodies and masks.
Cameras scrutinized at 450 places
Police searched cameras from about 450 places and identified the accused. The masks were removed by the accused after the incident. After adding links to the footage, it was found that the accused had fled to Delhi on the flight. ACP Narendra Rawat formed a team of policemen of Lasudia, MIG, Vijay Nagar and Khajrana police stations and sent the soldiers to Delhi.
Reached Maurabi from Delhi
With the help of a cyber cell, the mobile location was taken out, it was found out from Delhi to Maurabi (Gujarat). The police continued to chase the accused. On Tuesday, Samit son Sunarsingh Takrana resident Umrati Barla Barwani, Kadda alias Balveer son Narendra Kalyan resident Akash Nagar (Dwarkapuri) and Kalu alias Ramraj son Indeshwari Maurya resident Akash Nagar caught Akash Nagar.

The accused committee currently lives in Akash Nagar. Accused Kalu is originally from Alapura Nawapura Kunda UP. He told that the gang leader Gurdeep Singh’s son Vijay Singh is a resident of Akash Nagar. Accused used to rake houses on the pretext of making lock-chabi. Seeing the opportunity, they used to steal.
Jewelry recovered from accused
The accused have confessed to stealing jewelery worth lakhs of rupees from Sandeep Solanki in Chanakya apartment and Jyoti Goyal in Nehru Nagar. According to SI Rahul Dabur, the thieves are fond of moving from branded clothes, gambling-satisfaction, liquor-draws party and flight. After the incident, they used to distribute jewelery. Police have seized gold chains, necklaces and 35 thousand cash.
