There is an atmosphere of uncertainty in business due to non -release of notifications on pea import duty policy. According to sources, the government can abolish the exemption of import duty. If even a little fee is implemented, then there can be mild strength in the market.

If the notification does not come, then according to experts, the situation will be created before December 2023. In case of pea import duty, there is a possibility of weakness in the price of peas in Canada. There is a possibility of a huge rise in peas only when imports are banned or December 2023 is the first status quo.

Port (Mundra-Hazira and Kolkata) is said to be a heavy stock of peas. The big importer’s money is stuck and their selling may come out in the case of duty in peas. If pea import duty free deadline increases, mild pressure can be seen on the peas.
