India Registers Largest Margin Of Win In Rajkot: The last match of the three-match ODI series played between the Indian women’s team and the Ireland women’s team was played today (15 January 2025) in Rajkot. Where Mandhana and Company defeated the opposition team by a huge margin of 304 runs. This is the biggest win of the Indian women’s team in terms of margin of runs in the ODI format. Earlier in the year 2017, women players had won against Ireland in Potchefstroom by a huge margin of 249 runs.
While chasing the target, Ireland’s team collapsed for 131-10 runs.
While chasing the target of 436 runs set by the Indian women’s team, the entire Ireland team collapsed for just 131 runs in 31.4 overs. Apart from the team’s opener Sarah Forbes (41), only fourth-ranked player Orla Prendergast (36) was able to face the Indian bowlers for some time. Apart from these two batsmen, other Irish women cricketers were always seen struggling for runs against the Indian bowlers.

Deepti Sharma took three wickets
All-rounder Deepti Sharma was the most successful bowler from India during bowling. For the team, he bowled a total of 8.4 overs and achieved the maximum of three wickets by spending 27 runs. Apart from them, Tanuja Kanwar achieved two successes and Titas Sadhu, Sayali Satghare and Meenu Mani achieved one success each respectively.
Indian women’s team was successful in scoring 435-5 runs
Earlier, after winning the toss in Rajkot and batting first, Indian women had managed to score 435 runs at the loss of five wickets in 50 overs. While opening the innings for the team, Pratika Rawal and captain Smriti Mandhana were seen in great form. For the team, Rawal contributed 154 runs in 129 balls, while Mandhana contributed 135 runs in 80 balls. Apart from these two batsmen, wicket player Richa Ghosh played a half-century inning of 59 runs in 42 balls.

Indian women’s team clean sweeps Ireland women’s team
With the historic win in the last ODI match, the Indian women’s team has won the three-match ODI series 3-0. The Indian women’s team won the first ODI by six wickets with 93 balls remaining, while the second match was won by a margin of 116 runs. Now in the third match, the Indian team has won by a huge margin of 304 runs.
