International matches do not take place after IPL: Rohit Sharma

When asked about his availability for home matches during the press conference, Rohit Sharma said that if you look at our calendar in the last 6-7 years, it has never happened that we have been sitting at home for 45 days. This happens only when there is no international match immediately after the end of IPL. Our domestic session starts in October and runs till March. Players who are not playing all formats for the national team and when domestic cricket is happening, they can play in it.

Rohit Sharma said that if I talk about myself, I have started playing Test cricket regularly from 2019. In such a situation you hardly get time. When you play international cricket regularly, you need time to refresh. It is not that anyone is taking domestic cricket lightly.
