- Government confident, this exemption will boost investors’ morale
- Land allotted for industry will no longer be able to be rented out.
- 10 percent capital investment out of total investment proposals in 10 years
Saurabh Soni, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh government is making new efforts every day to bring investment in the state. The state team, which visited England and Germany, has assured investors willing to invest in Madhya Pradesh that no legal action of any kind will be taken against them. After giving the investment proposal, it will not be necessary for them to invest. They will be exempted from this obligation.
If the investor does not find the investment environment in the state favorable, he will be able to withdraw from the investment. The authorities may have used this to attract investors, but it will have an adverse effect on the investment prospects seen in the future.
Earlier too, investment proposals worth crores were received in the Global Investor Summit and road shows conducted in the country and abroad, but only a few of them have been implemented on the ground. Here, the promises made by the government to the industry including single window system, establishment of industries without permission, are also being fulfilled on the ground.
However, there are still some shortcomings, like the work culture of the officers of the departments related to the establishment of industries will have to be improved. If this happens, Madhya Pradesh will be included among the leading states of the country where maximum investment takes place.
Government will cancel the lease of those renting land allotted for industry
- The state government has also taken strict action against those who take land and use it for other purposes. The aim of the government is that if land is given for industry, it should also be used for that.
- To set up an industry, instead of setting up a factory on the land allotted by the government, the land will be taken back from those who use it for commercial purposes or rent it out by building a showroom.
- More than nine thousand industries in 208 industrial areas. According to departmental data, 208 industrial areas have been created in 4100 hectares across the state. Of these, 12,500 plots are allotted and more than nine thousand industries are established.
- MPIDC has 112 developed or developing industrial areas and 14 greenfield sites in more than 30 thousand hectares of land in more than 115 industrial areas in Madhya Pradesh.
10 percent capital investment out of total investment proposals in 10 years

Of these, 762 capital investments worth Rs 3 lakh 47 thousand 891.4039 crore have been made. Due to these capital investments, two lakh seven thousand 49 unemployed people have got employment in the state.
