Bahujan Samaj Party is in discussion these days. The reason for this is not his victory or defeat in any election, but the action is being taken against senior leaders. This year it started with the expulsion of Ashok Siddharth on 12 February. Ashok Siddharth is none other than the father -in -law of Akash Anand, who was declared her Uttaradhakiri by BSP chief Mayawati. On March 2, Mayawati also removed Akash Anand from the National Coordinator and other posts. The next day, he was also shown the way out of the BSP. The BSP accused Ashok Siddharth of fueling factionalism in the party. At the same time, Akash Anand was accused of working on his father -in -law. But experts are saying that Akash has caused action on Anand, a marriage. But Akash Anand, who is out of the party for marriage, is not the only leader of BSP. Akash Anand was married to Ashok Siddharth’s daughter Dr. Pragya in March 2023, while Akash’s brother -in -law was married on February 7 in Agra. Sources say that Mayawati had asked her party leaders to avoid going to this wedding. Even after this, Akash Anand attended this wedding. As a result, many other leaders of BSP also attended this. These included leaders who were showing close to Akash Anand since Mayawati became heir. Mayawati saw it as a power display. He felt that Ashok Siddharth, along with Akash Anand, was trying to create a group.
Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand and Dr. Pragya were married in March 2023.
The special thing about this marriage is that Akash Anand’s father Anand Kumar did not attend it. The BSP expelled Ashok Siddharth from the party on 12 February. Mayawati gave this information in a tweet. He accused Ashok Siddharth of factionalism and indiscipline. On this day, the role of Akash Anand’s expulsion was also ready. Mayawati completed this work on March 3. It was a special thing in the whole incident that Mayawati did not take any action against Akash Anand’s father Anand Kumar. Experts say that the reason for this is that he did not attend the wedding of Akash’s brother -in -law.
This is not the first time that the BSP has taken action on its leaders due to a marriage. Earlier in December 2023, the BSP also showed its former District President of Rampur and former minister Surendra Sagar out of the party. He was also expelled from the party, the BSP president of Rampur district. Sagar married his son to the daughter of SP MLA Tribhuvan Dutt. Dutt was also earlier in BSP. But after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he joined the SP. The SP gave him a ticket from Alapur. He won the election with more than 15 thousand votes, meeting the expectations of the SP. He defeated Triveni Ram of BJP. The BSP was ranked third in Alapur. Tribhuvan won the 2007 election from Alapur on a BSP ticket. Mayawati was said to be angry with the marriage of the son of the BSP leader to the SP MLA’s daughter.
Mayawati clarified
BSP’s criticism started after this news came to light. After this, Mayawati had to come forward to give clarification herself. He said that Surendra Sagar has been extracted not because of his son’s marriage but due to his fight with other leaders of the party. For this reason, the District President of Rampur has also been taken out of the party. He also said that the party leaders are free to marry according to their understanding. He had said that who marries whom and whom to have relations, there is no relation with the party. He described such news as propaganda against the BSP.

Earlier, the BSP chief had asked his party leaders not to go to the wedding of Munkad Ali’s son. Munakad Ali is a former BSP MP. His daughter Sambul Rana was a Samajwadi Party candidate in the by -election held last year in Meerapur Vidhasabha seat in Muzaffarnagar district. He is the daughter -in -law of Kadir Rana, another BSP leader. Rana has been an MP and MLA from BSP. He is currently in SP.

On this marriage, Mayawati had said, “The BSP also contested this seat. In such a situation, there was a general discussion about the possibility of conflict between the people of both parties in the wedding. To avoid this, the party had to take this step, but the way it is being promoted is not correct. ”Many BSP leaders attended the Valime of Munkad Ali’s son. It was considered indiscipline by Mayawati. After this, Prashant Gautam, in -charge of Meerut division, district in -charge Mahavir Singh Pradhan and another leader were expelled from the party.

Mithlesh Pal of Rashtriya Lok Dal won in Meerapur by -election. Pal defeated SP’s Sumbul Rana by 30 thousand 796 votes. Here BSP candidate Shah Nazar got three thousand 248 votes and fifth place.
