The father of Waris Punjab De chief and Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, MP from Khadur Sahib, lodged in Assam’s Dibrugarh jail, was put under house arrest by the police on Tuesday. Police force has been deployed outside Amritpal’s house in Jallupur Kheda village of Amritsar district.

3 days ago, Amritpal’s father Tarsem Singh had announced the formation of a new party in Maghi Mela to raise his voice. He had also talked about joining the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha with his supporters for the release of the captive Sikhs in Mohali, but before that the police put him under house arrest.
Tarsem Singh released the video and said-

Said- Force deployed in the entire village Tarsem Singh said- This is the second year of Qaumi Insaaf Morcha, a big gathering is taking place there. We had to participate in it, but from last night onwards police force was deployed in the entire village. The village is being cordoned off, an atmosphere of terror is being created in the village also. Democracy is being weakened.
Bhagwant Mann government is destroying democracy by not giving people the right to express their anger. This is a very shameful thing. Whenever people come together to talk about an issue, they should not be restrained.
Tarsem Singh appealed to the people to reach the front in maximum numbers to support him and protect the rights of our jailed Sikhs.

Announcement was made to form a new party in the Golden Temple On 28 September 2024, on the fourth anniversary of Waris Punjab De Organization, Amritpal Singh’s family had reached the Golden Temple to pay obeisance. After paying obeisance to Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, head of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee, Tarsem Singh had said that the people of Punjab are going through a very delicate situation politically, socially and religiously. That is why he has prayed that he will form a political party.
Tarsem Singh had said that the leaders sitting in Delhi are doing whatever they want. It is possible that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann may also be replaced, even if the excuse of his health is given. It has been announced to form the party only to save the youth of Punjab, because only if the youth of Punjab is saved, the constitution and agenda will be made. There will be a party of all religions and work will be done rising above caste.
