This process has been going on since 2009
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in the House that the process of sending the indigenous Indian who was living illegally in any country has been going on since 2009. While people have been sent by aircraft since 2012. Nothing new has been done in this process.

The rule of sending from military plane has been applicable since 2012. There is no discrimination about this. Illegal migrants were trapped, they had to be brought back. Jaishankar said, “We are definitely negotiating with the US government to ensure that no misbehavior should be done during the flight with Indians returning.” He said, “At the same time The House will appreciate that our focus should be on strict action on illegal immigration industry while taking steps to make the visa of legitimate passengers easier.
Jaishankar said that the process of deporting Indians from America is not new and it is the responsibility of all countries that if their citizens are living illegally abroad, then take them back.
He said, “This policy is not applied to only one country. The process of exile is not new, it has been for many years. ”Jaishankar also put the figures of the people excluded from America before the House. He said that 734 in 2009, 799 in 2010, 597 in 2011, 530 Indians in 2012 were deported. He shared figures up to 2024 in this regard.
The Foreign Minister said, “The standard operation process for exile by the aircraft emphasizes the use of restraint. However, we have been informed that women and children have not been stopped. “He said,” Other needs of the exile, including possible medical emergency conditions related to food and other needs, are noticed during traffic. Exempted people are not stopped when needed during toilet breaks. This applies to chartered civilian aircraft as well as military aircraft. ”
