JEE Main 2025: NTA i.e. National Testing Agency has announced the dates of session 1 examination of JEE Main 2025 on its official website. The examinations are starting from 22nd January and will continue till 30th January. The exam admit card will be made available to the candidates a week in advance, however before that the exam city slip is issued which may come by the next week. NTA amended the exam pattern
National Testing Agency (NTA) has made important amendments in the exam pattern of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. This update will be available on the official website of NTA. jeemain.nta.nic.in Has been released on. As per the revised exam pattern, optional questions have been completely removed from Section B in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Now it will be mandatory to answer all the five questions given under this section. Students will not get the option to skip any question, which earlier existed as optional questions. Apart from this, NTA has also implemented the provision of negative marking in Section B. This means that if a question is answered wrong, then -1 point will be deducted. This change may prove challenging for the students, because earlier there was no provision for negative marking in this section. Now students will have to answer every question very carefully and intelligently. These amendments in JEE Main 2025 exam can affect the preparation of students. Experts believe that due to this new pattern, students will have to change their strategy. Especially in Section B, where earlier students could select optional questions, now they have to attempt all the questions. Also, due to negative marking, students will have to avoid giving wrong answers, so that it does not have a negative impact on their overall score. Students are advised to start their preparation keeping in mind the new pattern of the exam and make a strategy to perform balanced in all the sections.
