JEE Main 2025 Exam: Ranchi-The entrance examination of JEE Main January 2025 will start from Wednesday (January 22) by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination will be held in two shifts on 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30 January. Regarding this, three examination centers have been identified in Ranchi – Oxford Public School, Arunuma Technical Service Private Limited located at Lower Chutia Samlong and Future Bright located at Pundag Argora. Exams for Paper-1 i.e. BE-B.Tech will be held at the examination centers from 22nd to 29th January, while on the last day on 30th January, exams for B.Arch and B.Planning will be held. During the examination, prohibitory orders will be imposed by the district administration within a radius of 300 meters of these three examination centres. The first shift of the entrance examination will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift examination will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. About 10 thousand students will take the exam at the centers in Ranchi.

13.8 lakh candidates from across the country have applied for the JEE Main January session examination. Of these, about 10 thousand students will appear for the examination at the centers in Ranchi. According to experts, time management is important in the examination. According to the question pattern of 2025, a total of 75 questions in the exam will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). These questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. That means there will be 25-25 questions in each section. Each section will be of 100 marks and the total paper will be of 300 marks. Students are required to answer all the questions. There will be negative marking for wrong answer to each question.

There will be no optional questions in section B

According to the changed question pattern this year, NTA has removed optional questions from Section B. Now there will be only five questions in this section, solving all of them will be mandatory. Earlier there were 10 questions, out of which five questions had to be solved. In such a situation, this time there will be 20 MCQs and 5 numerical type questions in each section.

Read the questions carefully then solve

According to experts, this time the syllabus of JEE Main has been reduced. JEE Mains questions include questions from class 11th and 12th. Its ratio will be 60-40 percent. In Maths, questions will be asked from Conic Section (only standard form), Vector, 3D Geometry, Matrix, Determinant, Function, Limits, Definite Integration and Area and from 11th onwards, questions will be asked from Quadratic Equation, Progression and Series, Binomial Theorem, Statistics. You have to read the questions carefully before solving them.

Information about Chemistry: Pankaj Kumar told that 10-11 questions will be asked from Inorganic Chemistry in JEE Main. In this, there will be questions related to chemical bonding, periodic table, coordination compound and D block, apart from organic chemistry, name reaction and exception, numerical from physical chemistry. For this you will have to remember the formula given in each chapter. To get better marks in Physics subject, there is a need to carefully study topics like Modern Physics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Properties of Matter, Work-Energy-Power, Magnetism, AC.
