Jodhpur handicraft business got boost, domestic market got buzzed from EPCH expo

The country’s second major handicraft manufacturer hub Jodhpur’s handicraft businesses are being taken an important step to increase the sale of handicraft items in the domestic market by EPCH to boost the international recession.

4 days Handicraft Expo

A four -day handicraft expo is being run by Handicraft Export Promotion Council EPCH at Trade Facility Center located in Jodhpur Borranada Industries Area. In this expo, exporters from different parts of the country have decorated their product stalls.

In which more than 80 stalls have been set up. The special thing about this expo is that it is being organized after 14 years. In this expo, many different products including exporter manufacturers and handmade items furniture paintings have been displayed from different states of the country.

Local for vocal working

Hansraj Baheti, director of Handicrafts Export Promotion Council EPCH, said that earlier handicraft businesses used to send the product of handicraft abroad. But for the last three-four years, there is a recession in the foreign market. The condition of handicraft businesses is bad. Many handicraft businesses were being defaulted by the bank. Many people had closed their factories. But now we are doing the local for vocal work of the government. Through this, people of the country are also using handicraft items to be built in our country. The market of the country also stands with great strength to the handicraft. Due to which the problems of our people seem to be decreasing.

Many manufacturers and exporters across the country are participating in the Handicrafts Export Promotion Council EPCH Expo. He believes that the country’s market is also stronger than the foreign market. The demand for the product of the export made by us is now being started in the country itself. The installation of such an expo by the government is being considered as a booster for the handicraft business.

The domestic market is buzzing

Nawab Khan, owner of Mehak Handicraft, told that we work in antique items. Used to send old things to the foreign market by making them strong and new. Now the demand of these items is started in the country itself. Talking about the price, the price of export is about 10 rupees. So the same product is about 600000 rupees in the domestic market. Our domestic market is buzzing at a low price by about 40 percent.

But this type of antique diary which is prepared from homemade paper. Many people are liking this. Its demand is also being seen. It has a huge craze among the youth.
