National President of Azad Samaj Party and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad fiercely attacked the Yogi government on Thursday. Raising questions on the attitude and functioning of the government, he said that a ‘Jungle Raj’ like situation has arisen in the state and the dictatorial attitude of the Chief Minister is increasing.

Chandrashekhar Azad, who reached the civil court in Saharanpur, while talking to the media, said that ask us what is Jungle Raj. A bullet was fired at me. If you ask the government questions about basic facilities, employment and people’s houses, they have no answer. When the government wants to work, it can make big changes, we have seen a new city being built in 6 months. Taking a dig at the government and referring to the Kumbh Mela, he said that only those people who have committed sins will go to the Kumbh Mela. Those who have committed sin, let them go.

Chandrashekhar Azad said that our party is fighting for the poor and weaker sections, who were humiliated for years in the name of religion and sect. Media, police, administration and judiciary seem to be standing against the weaker sections. We are struggling to give respect to those people who have not got a life of dignity even after so many years of independence. Referring to the Sambhal violence, he said that it is useless to expect any improvement from those whose election agenda is based on Hindu-Muslim divide. If the youth demands employment, he will have to face lathicharge.

Chandrashekhar further said that a robbery worth Rs 1 crore 80 lakh took place in Muzaffarnagar. There a person was beaten to death. When a youth from Baghpat did not get justice, he committed suicide in front of the Parliament. There is jungle raj in Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Minister is adopting a dictatorial attitude. They do whatever comes to their mind. It cannot be predicted when someone may die here. There was an attempt to murder me too. We want the government to be made accountable. This struggle will continue for a long time.

Chandrashekhar Azad said that his party will participate strongly in the upcoming elections in Milkipur and Delhi of Uttar Pradesh. When asked about the alliance, he said that if good people come together, it will strengthen the equation of the poor and BJP can be defeated. When asked about his closeness to Azam Khan, Chandrashekhar said that if anyone has problem with it, then it is his point of view. BJP can be stopped only by coming together with good people.
