Vande Bharat Express designed for Katra-Srinagar route has reached Jammu Tawi railway station. According to media reports, it will be tried now. After this Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off. However, the date has not been revealed yet.

Final safety inspection has started in the 111 km long Banihal-Katra block built to connect Kashmir in Jammu Division. It is expected to be operational by the end of 2025. Banihal-Katra block has 97 km long tunnel and a total of 7 km long bridges.
Railway Minister said- 12 major changes in Amrit Bharat Train-2.0 Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Friday that 12 major changes have been made in the second version of Amrit Bharat trains. Integral Coach Factory (ICF) will build 50 such trains in the next two years. Vaishnav said this during the ICF inspection in Chennai.
