The top leaders of the party met the leaders of the Kerala Congress at the Congress headquarters Indira Bhavan in Delhi.
The Congress held a meeting for about 3 hours at Indira Bhavan in Delhi on Friday for the Kerala assembly elections. According to sources, Kerala leaders were given strict warnings in the meeting. According to sources, in the meeting, Rahul Gandhi said- There is an emotional connection between the Gandhi family and the people in Kerala. We should not do or say anything that is against the party line, because doing so means that we are insulting the people of Kerala.
The meeting was attended by party president Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Kerala Congress chief Sudhakaran and many people including Congress Legislature Party leader VD Satishan in Kerala Assembly.
The people of Kerala should not be insulted
In-charge of party affairs in Kerala, Deepa Dasmunshi said- Our party president Kharge ji said that all of us should follow discipline in the party. Secondly, leaders should unite and have collective leadership.
He said- We should not underestimate our party workers. Rahul ji said that he has been in Kerala for 5 years and he understands the emotional connection with the people of Kerala. Therefore, we should not insult the people of Kerala. There is no doubt that there is no LDF or BJP supporter in the Kerala Congress party.
