A heart-wrenching accident has happened in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Where 10 newborns died and many children got badly burnt due to fire in the NICU of Maharani Lakshmibai Medical College. Senior leaders of the country including President Draupadi Murmu and PM Modi expressed grief over this tragic accident. After the accident, UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi. While talking to the media, UP Deputy CM said, “The death of newborn babies is very unfortunate. Together with the family members, we are trying to identify the bodies of the newborn babies… The first investigation will be done at the administrative level. The health department will do the investigation, the police administration will do it… the fire department team will also be involved, thirdly, instructions have been given for a magistrate inquiry to be done to investigate the cause of the fire… if any lapse is found. So whoever is responsible, take strict action against him. Action will be taken and no one will be spared, the government is with the families of the children…”
