When the shopkeepers came to open the shop in the morning, they found the locks broken. On this the shopkeepers informed the Kotwali police. SI Arvind Tomar from Kotwali police station reached the spot to investigate. SI Tomar said that there was no theft from the shops.

CCTV footage is being scrutinized

Chillers have been taken from some shops and goods have been thrown away. Interrogating people nearby and scanning CCTV footage. In this case, the Kotwali police is claiming that the miscreants will be arrested soon.

Hawkers Zone shopkeepers Nitin Parashar and Nikhil Parashar told that the shop was closed at around 9 pm on Sunday night. After this, when we reached the shop at around seven in the morning, the locks were broken. The cash from the shop was taken home, the goods were lying in order, a big water can is missing from the shop. Other shopkeepers said that when nothing was found in the shop, the miscreants took away the goods and threw them in the drain.

There is a gathering of drug addicts at night

Shopkeepers of Hawkers Zone say that this place has been made a hangout for drug addicts at night. They sit here and drink alcohol and even break the bottles here. Have also complained about this, but no action was taken. Now the courage of drug addicts has become so high that they have started committing thefts by breaking the locks of shops.

Questions on police patrol also

The residents of the city have also raised questions on the police patrolling at night regarding the thefts taking place in the city. Hawkers Zone is one of the busiest areas of the city. It is situated at a short distance from the police station. Here miscreants break the locks of more than 15 shops at night, but the police do not even get a clue, this is a question on the functioning of the police.

And here, farmers’ motors are also being stolen

The time of irrigation is going on in Rabi season. Farmers’ motors are parked in the fields. Miscreants are targeting them too. Farmers’ motorcycles are disappearing from the fields in broad daylight. On Saturday, in Amlapura area, the motors of two farmers located at Shivna pond were stolen. Thefts are happening here every day. Sometimes miscreants take away farmers’ motors and sometimes they cut the cables and take them away.
