So many colors of spirituality and life that the soul becomes drenched. On Monday, the first bath of Paush Purnima started the conch shell of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Such a procession of devotees on the banks of Sangam on the very first day of the 45-day long Mahakumbh. As far as the eye can see, there are only heads. Someone pick up the bundle. Someone should sit the child. Someone wraps himself in a sheet in the bitter cold. Holding the hand of an elderly parent. Satsang in the name of Ram somewhere. Radhe Radhe somewhere. Shiva worship somewhere. The stubbornness of the hatha yogis who have come from every corner of the country, forces one to think – is this possible?
And to gather the virtues of the full moon of Paush through all these colors, the process of bathing and meditating from early morning. Such amazing energy in the body when life wants to be confined to a quilt! Where is its source? Where does the cold go? Old people, children, women taking bath in Sangam. Everything is amazing, unbelievable, unimaginable. Mahakumbh is something like this. In which more than 60 lakh devotees have taken bath in nectar in one day. See such colors of Mahakumbh below…
Mahakumbh, Harley Davidson and Baba
Many other people including Sanyasi and Naga Sadhu have also reached Mahakumbh. Different colors of Mahakumbh are visible. Sannyasis have their own aura in Prayagraj. Two sisters made an amazing arrangement to avoid separation during Kumbh!

‘We are blessed’, foreign devotees who reached Mahakumbh are also happy
There is a flood of devotees on the occasion of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the city of religion and faith. Till 9.30 in the morning, 60 lakh devotees have taken a dip in Mother Ganga. Foreign tourists have also reached here. Devotee Claudia, who came from Poland, said that she is very happy to be here. I had never felt like this. Never thought I would ever get this kind of experience in life. Tomorrow I will also take bath. Tomorrow is going to be a very important day from the point of view of Mahakumbh. Although today it has formally started, but tomorrow is the day of Shahi Snan and I am quite curious.
A dip of faith in Paush Purnima in Budhaditya Yoga
Paush Purnima i.e. today a wonderful combination of Budhaditya Yoga is taking place. After bathing, the yagya ritual will begin for fulfillment of all wishes, public welfare and development of the nation. Saints and devotees from India and abroad will take a dip in the sacred waters of the Triveni (confluence) of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati and will be engrossed in bhajan and worship.
Surveillance with underwater drone, AI camera
India’s Culture Ministry said that for the first time, underwater drones capable of diving up to 100 meters have been deployed across the city to provide round-the-clock surveillance in the Sangam area. At least 2,700 cameras with Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities that will provide real-time surveillance and facial recognition technology have been installed at the entry gates.
What is mythological belief?
According to mythological belief, devotees will regularly observe Kalpavas on the banks of Sangam for one month. For this, Prayagraj Fair Authority has made special arrangements under the guidance of CM Yogi. Kalpvas will start today from Paush Purnima.
