The divine-grand and cultural gathering Mahakumbh, organized from 13 January on the land of Tirtharaj Prayagraj, created a new history on Saturday. So far, more than 60 crore devotees have set a unique example of religious and cultural unity by taking a holy dip of eternal faith in Triveni Sangam. This number of more than 60 crores has become the biggest participation in the history of man so far in any religious, cultural or social event.
According to an estimate, there are a total of 120 crore Sanatani in the world. In this context, more than half of the world’s Sanatani Triveni Sangam has received a holy fruit by taking a holy dip in Mahakumbh. On 26 February, this number can reach above 65 crores by the last bathing festival of Shivaratri. All this has been made possible with the well -organized efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government. This ancient tradition of India has mesmerized the whole world with its divinity and grandeur.

In Mahakumbh’s Maha Kumbh, guests from all countries including diplomat and Bhutan Naresh Namgyal Wangchuk of 73 countries came to take a bath. Not only this, more than 50 lakh people of mother Janaki’s maternal uncle Nepal have so far become witnesses of Mahakumbh by bathing in the holy water of Triveni.

55% of the people of the country took a dip

In this way, if the number of bathing people is compared to the number of Sanatanis around the world, then more than 50 percent people have taken bath in Triveni Sangam so far. If the total population of the country is compared to the bathing people, then it has become 55 percent, that is, more than 55 percent of the total population of the country has taken bath in Triveni Sangam.
According to the report of Pew Research 2024, 120 crore (1.2 billion) population all over the world is going to be accepted by Sanatan Dharma.

So far 60 crores took bath
Bathing of saints, devotees, bathing people and householders filled with reverence and faith in the holy confluence of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna and invisible mother Saraswati has now reached across the summit, which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already reached before the Mahakumbh Had hoped.
CM Yogi had already predicted that this time the grand and divine Mahakumbh is being organized, he will set a new record of the number of bathing. Right now there are five days left in the conclusion of Mahakumbh and the bathing festival of important Mahashivaratri is left. It is expected that this number of bathing people can go above 65 crores.
Most devotees reached Mauni Amavasya
If we analyze the total number of bathing people so far, then the maximum number of 8 crore devotees took a bath on Mauni Amavasya. Whereas, 3.5 crore devotees took a Amrit bath on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. On February 1 and January 30, 1.7 crore devotees took a virtue of 2-2 crores and on Paush Purnima. Apart from this, 2.57 crore devotees took a dip of faith in Triveni on Basant Panchami. At the same time, on the important bathing festival of Maghi Purnima, more than two crore devotees took a holy bath in the Sangam.
