He said, “I thank the devotees of the country, the people of Uttar Pradesh and especially the people of Prayagraj.” He said that the way Bhagiratha effort was made to bring the Ganges, the same kind of Mahaprayas appeared in Mahakumbh. The Prime Minister said, “I insisted on ‘everyone’s effort’ from the Red Fort. The whole world visited the great form of India through Mahakumbh. This is the true form of ‘everyone’s effort’.”
He said, “In Mahakumbh, we have seen the great vision of awakening our national consciousness. It inspires us to accomplish new resolutions.” Modi said, “Mahakumbh has given a proper reply to the doubts and apprehensions that some people live in our strength.” He said that many nectars have come out of Mahakumbh and the nectar of unity is its very sacred offerings. He said that Mahakumbh was such an event in which people from every area of ​​the country, every corner, became one and renounced ‘Aham’ and gathered in Prayagraj with the sense of ‘Vayam’.
He insisted on this, “There have been many moments in the history of the country which gave a new direction to the country and shook the country and awakened.” “I see Gandhiji’s speech at the Chicago Sarvadharma Conference of Swami Vivekananda, Gandhiji’s ‘Dandi March’ and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s ‘Delhi Chalo’, and said,” I see Prayagraj Mahakumbh as one such important stage in which I saw the reflection of India. “
Referring to his recent Mauritius Yatra, he said, “I took the holy water of Triveni last week, when that water was flowed into the Ganges pond there, there was a lot of enthusiasm and atmosphere of faith.” The Prime Minister said in the Lok Sabha that by taking inspiration from Mahakumbh, we have to give a new expansion to the tradition of river festival, we must think about this, which will make the present generation understand the importance of water and clean the rivers as well as protect the rivers.
He said that the new generation of India is associated with Mahakumbh and this younger generation is adopting its faith and traditions with pride today.
