Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has praised NCP (SP) Chief Sharad Pawar and called him Chanakya of politics. Actually, Pawar had praised RSS on 9 January. He had said that ‘BJP won the elections because of RSS. We also have to create a cadre like him.
Fadnavis said- Sharad Pawar is Chanakya. He must have realized that a fake narrative was spread by Mahavikas Aghadi in the Lok Sabha elections, which got punctured in the Assembly elections. Pawar knows that this power (RSS) does not do politics continuously, it is building the nation. Many times one has to praise one’s opponent also, that is why RSS must have been praised.
On the discussion of unity of Sharad Pawar and his nephew Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, he said – Whatever incidents have happened in Maharashtra politics in the last 5 years, it should be understood that anything is possible in politics. Uddhav can go there (with Congress), Ajit can come here. If someone claims that this will not happen, then there is no confidence in where the political circumstances will take you.
Fadnavis was speaking at an awards ceremony organized in the memory of senior RSS volunteer Vilas Fadnavis in Nagpur on Friday.
On December 9, Sharad Pawar praised RSS Sharad Pawar had given credit for BJP’s huge victory in Maharashtra Assembly elections to RSS and praised them.
