Shiv Sena President and acting Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde cleared the way for the next CM in Maharashtra in a press conference on Tuesday. He said in the press conference that PM Modi’s decision to make him CM will be universally accepted. I will accept BJP’s CM.
He said, “There is no hindrance from my side to form the government in Maharashtra. Whatever decision PM Modi takes, I will accept it. I stand with PM Modi like a rock. PM Modi also stands with me like a rock.” I will accept the decision of PM Modi and Amit Shah. Mahayuti is strong and we are ready to work together.”
He said, “I never considered myself the CM of the state. I always worked as a common man in the state. We did a lot of work in two and a half years. Chief Minister means common man. I worked with this in mind. We have to work with the people. We should always work for the progress of Maharashtra. We are happy to work together in our government. People are there. Our popularity has increased in the state. I have always worked for the people of Maharashtra. How can they understand the pain of the poor?”

He further said, “I said that the identity of ‘Pyare Bhai’ is greater than all the titles. I myself had called PM Modi and said that while forming the government, do not think that I will have any problem in taking decisions. You helped us. Given a chance to develop this state, the decision you take will be final for us as well. There will be no problem. I called PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday and expressed my feelings that I would not have any objection to forming the government.”
