Nitish Rane gave a statement on Rahul-Priyanka at an event on the occasion of Shiv Pratap Diwas in Pune on Sunday.

Rane said in a rally in Purandar in Pune district on Sunday – All terrorists vote for Rahul-Priyanka. It’s true, you may ask. He has become MP by taking terrorists with him.
Rane said- Whatever was said by Rahul and Priyanka after winning the elections, the BJP leaders of Wayanad also said it. You can ask anyone. Who are the people supporting Rahul-Priyanka? Which organizations support them? Can Congress come forward and say that we are wrong? Can they say that not a single terrorist organization supported Rahul and Priyanka in the elections? We will give more evidence. Whatever I said was based on facts.
After the opposition’s reaction, Rane said that Kerala is an integral part of India. He was only comparing the treatment of Hindus in Kerala and Pakistan. Recently, conversion of 12 thousand Hindu women was stopped there.
Congress demanded Nitish’s removal from the cabinet. Congress national spokesperson Atul Londhe Patil has demanded PM Narendra Modi and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to drop Nitesh from the cabinet. He said what else can be expected from Rane? This is what they were chosen to do.

Leader of opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar said that if Kerala is Pakistan then what is the central government doing? Former minister Balasaheb Thorat said that BJP leaders cannot do anything, that is why they keep raising the issue of Hindu-Muslim, India-Pakistan.
Nitish took oath as a minister in the Fadnavis government of Maharashtra on December 15. He has been given the Ministry of Fisheries and Port Development. Nitesh’s father Narayan Rane has been the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He has been in controversies earlier also regarding his statements. Many cases of hate speech are already registered against him.
In the Lok Sabha elections, first Rahul, then Priyanka won from Wayanad seat of Kerala. Along with the Maharashtra Assembly elections, by-elections were held in two Lok Sabha seats, Nanded and Wayanad. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had won from Wayanad by a margin of 4 lakh 10 thousand 931 votes. Whereas Rahul has won from Wayanad twice (2019 and 2024). In 2024, Rahul won from Wayanad seat by a margin of 3.64 lakh votes.
Communist leader had also said- Priyanka-Rahul won in Wayanad with the support of communal Muslims. CPI(M) politburo member A Vijayaraghavan had also said on December 22, the communal Muslim alliance was behind Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi’s Wayanad victory. He raised the question whether Rahul Gandhi could have won without the strong support of the communal Muslim alliance?
