Nayeduniya Representative, Bhopal: On Mahashivaratri, the government is organizing Mahadev Festival at ten places in the state with ancient pagoda including Bhojpur. In this, the glory of Shiva will be seen in cultural form.
In Bhojpur, this festival will be for three days and other centers will be one day. The culture department of the state government organizes Mahadev Bhojpur festival at Bhojpur Shiva temple every year in collaboration with Raisen District Administration. This year this festival is expanding.

- Director of Culture Department NP Namdev informed that a one -day Mahadev is being organized at nine other places in the state besides Bhojpur.
- Among them, Pipleshwar Mahadev Temple-Sonakachchh (Dewas), Narwar (Shivpuri), Kundeshwar Dham-Tikamgarh, Pashupatinath Temple-Mandsaur, Neelkantheshwar Temple, Udaipur (Vidisha), Nagar Ghat-Amkareshwar, Jugalkishore Temple-Panna, Devtalab Temple-Maganj and Bateshwar Temple – Morena includes.
- The event is to be held on Mahashivaratri i.e. 26 February. There will be art expressions of Shiva-truth in all places. The presentations will start at 6:30 pm and the entry will be free.
The magic of Rishabh’s sitar and Arunita’s voice in Bhojpur
The Mahadev Bhojpur festival will be of three days in the Bhojpur Shiva temple complex. It will run from 26 to 28 February. Famous sitar player Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma is to be performed on the first day. On the last day, Indian Idol fame Arunita Kanjilal will spread the magic of her singing.

These performances in three days in Bhojpur
- 26 February – Shiv Bhai Gupta, Khargone’s folk singing, Abhilash Choubey, Sagar’s congratulations, Hiramani Verma, Matki folk dance of Ujjain, well -known sitar player and singer Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma.
- 27 February- Presentation of Shiva Tandava at Taal instrumental by Anshul Pratap Singh and Saathi, Bhopal. The recitation of Dr. Hariom Panwar, Anamika Ambar, Vishnu Saxena, Balram Srivastava, Aman Akshar and Laxman Nepali recited poetry at the All India Kavi Sammelan.
- 28 February- Rajkumar Thakur, Sagar’s folk songs. Sanjay Mahajan, Gangaur dance of Barwah. Amit Gharu, Sagar’s Bredi and Naurata dance. Arunita Kanjilal, Nachikel Lele and the smooth music of the group.
