Maruti sales increased in February, Hundai’s 3% declined, read how other companies were in – India tv hindi

Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki India said on Saturday that its total sales in February were 1,99,400 units with a slight increase on an annual basis. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement that the company had sold a total of 1,97,471 vehicles in the same month last year. The statement said that the total domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 1,60,791 units last month, compared to 1,60,271 units in the same month a year ago. Thus there was a slight increase in domestic sales on an annual basis.

Small cars sales decreased

Small cars, including Alto and S-Presso, fell from 14,782 units to 10,226 units in February in February. The sales of compact cars including Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR increased from 71,627 units to 72,942 units on an annual basis. The company reported that sales of utility vehicles like Grand Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, Jimny were 65,033 units last month, compared to 61,234 units in the same month a year ago. MSI said its exports last month had 25,021 units, which was 28,927 units in the same month a year ago.

Hundai’s sale fell

The total sales of Hyundai Motor India vehicles declined by three percent to 58,727 units on an annual basis in February. Hyundai Motor India sold 60,501 vehicles in the same month last year. Hyundai Motor India said on Saturday that it sold 47,727 units in the domestic market in February, which is five percent less than 50,201 units sold in the same month last year. It exported 11,000 trains in February this year, which was 10,300 units in the same period a year ago. Tarun Garg, a full-time director and chief executive officer (CEO) of Hundai Motor India, said, “Despite geopolitical challenges, we remain optimistic on the domestic sales front. The proposed tax improvement and better cash status in the general budget 2025 will promote very important demand in the market. ”

Mahindra sales increased by 15 percent in February

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) increased vehicle sales by 15 percent to 83,702 units in February. The vehicle manufacturer sold 72,923 units in February last year. M&M said on Saturday that in February, it sold 50,420 vehicles in the ‘utility’ vehicle segment with a 19 percent increase in the domestic market, which was 42,401 units in February last year. Last month, the company’s exports rose 99 percent to 3,061 units, which was 1,539 units in February 2024.

Toyota Kirloskar sales increased by 13%

The total sales of Toyota Kirloskar Motor have increased by 13 percent to 28,414 units in February. The company sold 25,220 units in February last year. Toyota Kirloskar said on Saturday that it sold 26,414 units in the domestic market in February. The company also exported 2,000 vehicles. Varinder Wadhwa, vice-president of Toyota Kerloskar Motor (sales-service-with) Varinder Wadhwa said in a statement, “Multipurpose vehicles (MPVs) and sports utility vehicles (SUVs) remain the main growth driver. Their contribution to total sales is 68 percent. ” He said that the strong demand for models such as Innova Crysta, Innova High Cross, Urban Cruiser Hyrider, Hillux, Fortuner, Legendar and Rumion reflects the growing priority for reliable and quality products.
