The Rajasthan High Court has given an important decision in a case related to the custody of children. The court has taken away an 11-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother from her grandparents and gave it to the mother. YouTube reels and short video became the basis of this decision of the court. Last year, the father of these children died. After which the court gave the custody of children to grandparents. While giving the verdict, the court admitted that negligence has been done by grandparents in raising children.

What is the whole matter?
This case is between the elderly couple and their daughter -in -law of Amer region of Jaipur. Petitioner Sadhana’s husband was suffering from kidney disease. He died a year ago. After the death of her husband, two children were living near their grandparents instead of mother. The mother had filed a petition in the court for the custody of these children.

Daughter puts direct content on YouTube upside down
Petitioner Sadhana alleged, “My 11 -year -old daughter is active on social media throughout the day. She keeps putting direct content on YouTube every day. Nobody stops doing so. I tried to stop, but the in -laws had tried to stop it, but the in -laws had tried to stop it. Silent me.

The petitioner said, “The girl uploads reels and videos on YouTube in front of grandparents, but they do not monitor her.” He claims that children use their father’s phone to make videos. But someone else is getting earnings from Y-tube. The petitioner said that he is educated. She is extracting its expenses by sewing. In such a situation, he should be given the custody of children.

What did the court say?
After watching some videos of the girl, the Rajasthan High Court said in her order- “The 11-year-old girl is making a video herself. Editing it. She is uploading her. Her grandparents never saw what she did Is it serious negligence.

Decision in favor of mother came on 21 January
While hearing the High Court, on 21 January, the verdict was pronounced in favor of the mother. The girl’s YouTube channel and the reels and videos uploaded on it became the basis of this decision. The girl posted dangerous videos on her channel. In one of these, the girl was doing stunting with injections in a video. In the second video, the girl is in the ghost -like ghostup of a horror film. Based on these videos, the court admitted that the grandfather-grandfather has taken serious negligence in raising children. After this, the court gave the custody of the children to his mother.

What did the court say?
The court expressed concern, saying, “The presence of such a young girl on a platform like YouTube without any guidance could bring her into the grip of cyber threats, but the family did not take it seriously.” The High Court said, “Making a video of a little girl repeatedly, being active on social media and going to someone else, indicated that children are not taking proper care.”

The court of Justice Pankaj Bhandari said that the mother is the natural patron of children. In such a situation, in view of the best interest of children, their custody is given to the mother. However, the court has given permission to the grandparents to meet the children every Sunday.
