Mark Zuckerberg is preparing to open the data center of his company Meta in India.
Social media company META has apologized for the statement of its CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg had said in a podcast that after Corona, the existing governments in many countries of the world fell. Modi government also lost in India’s Lok Sabha elections. This shows the decreasing trust of the public in the governments.
After this statement, Chairman of Parliament’s IT Committee and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had said that the company should apologize for this statement. Otherwise our committee will send him a defamation notice.
META India Vice President Shivnath Thukral said on Wednesday – It was a negligence. Mark Zuckerberg said that many existing governments fell after Corona, but this did not happen in India. We apologize for this mistake that happened due to negligence. India is a very important country for META.

During this he said that 2024 was a big election year. There were elections in all these countries including India. Almost all the incumbents lost the elections.

People’s resentment and anger influenced election results across the world. All the people in power lost. The Narendra Modi led government also lost.
Zuckerberg said- WhatsApp chat can be leaked Regarding WhatsApp, Zuckerberg said that end-to-end encryption protects the privacy of users, but if any government agency gets access to the device, it can read the chats stored in it.
He said that if spyware like Pegasus is installed on a device, then agencies can access its content. However, keeping the threats in mind, WhatsApp has included the disappearing messages feature, which automatically deletes the chats from the device after a fixed time.
Mark Zuckerberg along with wife Priscilla Chan attended the pre-wedding function of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant held in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1 to 3.
Meta may open data center in India Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, is likely to set up its first data center in India at the Reliance Industries campus in Chennai. According to media reports, Zuckerberg had attended the pre-wedding function of Anant Ambani, younger son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, held in Jamnagar in March 2024. Then he made an agreement with Reliance regarding this.
The data center will help Meta in processing content generated by users locally on its apps like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. However, no official statement has come out yet about the deal.
