Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat attended the Republic Day celebrations at a college in Bhiwandi city in Thane, Maharashtra. In the speech given after hoisting the tricolor, he said- Fraternity is the real religion. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has also explained this in his speech while giving the Constitution.
Bhagwat said- Society works on the basis of mutual goodwill. Therefore differences should be respected. Nature also gives us diversity. There are conflicts outside India due to diversity. We consider it a part of life.
He said that you can have your own characteristics, but you should be good towards each other. If you want to live, you must live together.
Mohan Bhagwat was invited as the chief guest in the college of Bhiwandi.

Bhagwat told the students present in the college – In the initial phase after independence, national pride and honor were uncertain. Especially after the defeat in the 1962 war with China. He said, “Even after independence, doubts remained. We had to retreat in the war against China and respect for us was lost.
