1. Congress said – Modi remained sitting during the gun salute to Manmohan; The family could not find a place
Congress has shared the video of gun salute during the funeral of Manmohan Singh on social media.
After the memorial controversy of former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, Congress targeted him over the arrangements for his funeral. Congress leader Pawan Kheda said, ‘Dr. It was surprising to see the chaos and disrespect from the government in the state funeral of Manmohan Singh. Only 3 chairs were kept for Dr. Singh’s family. The rest of the family had to ask for chairs. When the national flag was handed over to Dr. Singh’s wife and gun salute was given, PM Modi and the ministers did not stand up.
BJP responded to Congress’s allegations: BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya said, ‘The seating arrangements at the funeral site were made by CPWD in consultation with Delhi Police. The next two rows (rows 3 and 4) were reserved for family members. The state funeral was conducted with full military honours. No changes were made in the process.

2. BJP president will change in 7 states including UP-MP in January, new national president by February BJP may get a new national president in the last week of January or the first week of February. 3. Plane crash in South Korea, 179 deaths; Wheels did not open during landing, blast after hitting airport boundary
The accident occurred at 5:37 am Indian time (9:07 am local time) on Sunday.
179 people were killed in a plane crash at Muan Airport in South Korea. The Jeju Air plane had 175 passengers and 6 crew members. There was a malfunction in the landing gear of the plane coming from Bangkok. Due to which a belly landing was made at the airport, the plane slipped on the runway and hit the boundary wall of the airport.
Bird strike alert was received: Before the accident, the air traffic controller had issued an alert of bird collision with the plate. This could also be a reason for a malfunction in the landing gear of the plane. The plane tried twice to land at the airport. Lathi charge again on students protesting in Patna, demanding cancellation of BPSC pre exam Police fired water cannon and lathicharged on students demanding cancellation of pre-exam of Bihar Public Service Commission i.e. BPSC. Students were protesting at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. They also tried to take out a march to the CM residence, but were stopped by the police.
BPSC candidates have been lathi charged for the 5th time. Earlier on December 6, batons were used thrice in Gardanibagh, while on December 25, sticks were used near the BPSC office. Students are demanding cancellation of the BPSC exam held on 13 December.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has alleged that Russia had fired on the plane before it crashed in Kazakhstan on December 25. Ilham has also demanded Russia to accept its mistake.
