1. Budget: Income tax free up to ₹ 12.75 lakh in New Regime; Now IT returns will be filed in 4 years

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for a record 8th time. Income tax of up to Rs 12 lakh will be free in the new tax regime. This exemption for employed people will be ₹ 12.75 lakh, because the government is giving standard deduction of 75 thousand. The limit of filing old income tax returns has been increased from 2 years to 4 years.

Senior citizens were increased from 50 thousand rupees to Rs 1 lakh from 50 thousand rupees on earnings from bank-post office interest. A new income tax bill will be introduced next week to make the tax system easier and transparent.

Out of the 3.38 crore population of Delhi, 40 lakh people pay tax. The new slab will affect 67% middle class population here. Voting is on 70 assembly seats in the state on 5 February.

The Finance Minister made several announcements including expansion of 3 Green Field Airport, Makhana Board and Patna IIT, Western Kosi Canal Project in Bihar. The state has assembly elections this year. These announcements may affect 72 seats in Mithilanchal and Seemanchal regions. The state has 243 assembly seats.

1. For farmers: Kisan Credit Card Limit to ₹ 5 lakh

  • The limit of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) increased from 3 lakh to 5 lakh rupees. PM Dhan-Dhanya Agricultural Scheme will be applicable in 100 districts with low productivity. There will be a loan of up to Rs 5 lakh for dairy and fisheries. There will be a 6 -year mission to achieve self -sufficiency in pulses. 5 years action plan for cotton production.

2. For Job and Education: ₹ 10 thousand crore fund for startup

  • There was no major announcement related to the job. A fund of 10 thousand crores will be made for startup. At the same time, 75 thousand seats will increase in medical education in the next 5 years. 10 thousand seats will be increased in a year. 6,500 seats will be increased in 23 IITs in the country. Under the PM Research Fellowship, 10 thousand new fellowships will be given in IIT and IISC.

2. For women: Term loan up to ₹ 2 crore

  • Women who become entrepreneurs for the first time will get a term loan of two crore. A new scheme will start for 5 lakh women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, under which cheap business loans will be available. Under the competent Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 scheme, 8 crore girls and 1 crore pregnant and breastfeeding women will get nutritious support.

3. For Health: 200 Day Care Cancer Center will be built

  • Plan to build a day-care cancer center in all district hospitals in the next 3 years. In 2025-26, 200 days will be built. Broadband connectivity at all primary health care centers. Gig workers (who have a job temperament) will be linked to the Jan Arogya Yojana.

4. For Business: Loan Guarantee Limit increased to ₹ 10 crore

  • The loan guarantee limit for MSME will increase from ₹ 5 crore to ₹ 10 crore. A new credit card of a limit of 5 lakhs for registered micro enterprises. The scheme will be launched under Make in India for toy manufacturing. The loan limit of PM self -representation scheme for street vendors will increase to 30 thousand rupees.

5. For infrastructure: ₹ 1.5 lakh crore will be available

  • State governments will get ₹ 1.5 lakh crore for infrastructure development. This will be an interest free loan for 50 years. 3 AI (Artificial Intelligence) Excellence Center will be built at a cost of ₹ 500 crore. Plan to connect 120 new cities in the next 10 years through flight scheme. Partnership with states will develop 50 top tourist destinations.
