1. PM said- Disaster government in Delhi, these fanatic dishonest people; Kejriwal’s counterattack – disaster is not in Delhi, but in BJP
The PM gave the slogan for this election that the disaster has to be removed, BJP has to be brought in.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the election campaign for Delhi elections. He called AAP government a disaster government. PM Modi said- People who call themselves staunchly dishonest are in power. Who himself is accused of liquor scam. They also steal and embezzle. The people of Delhi have to remove this disaster government from power. Today every street says that we will not tolerate the disaster, we will change it. The PM gave the slogan for this election – ‘Disaster has to be removed, BJP has to be brought in.’
PM said- If he wanted, he could have built a glass palace for himself: PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects worth Rs 4500 crore in Delhi. He also inaugurated 1,675 flats built in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. While inaugurating a new house for the poor, PM Modi said-
I could also build a glass palace. But I never built my own house, in 10 years I have given permanent houses to 4 crore poor families.
Kejriwal said – BJP has neither CM face nor agenda: In response to PM’s speech, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the disaster has come not in Delhi but in BJP. BJP neither has CM face nor agenda. We have done so much work in Delhi that we can count for hours. But the PM could not count a single task in his 43-minute speech.

2. New virus like Corona spread in China, small children are more affected; Covid spread from Wuhan in 2019
The video related to the crowd of people in the hospital is viral on social media.
After 5 years of Covid-19, new virus infection is spreading again in China. Its symptoms are also like Corona virus. The number of its patients has increased continuously. The name of this new virus is Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV), which is an RNA virus. When infected with the virus, patients show symptoms like cold and Covid-19. Its biggest impact is being seen on small children. Among these, children below 2 years of age are most affected.
Claim- Emergency in affected areas: The new virus is causing cough, fever, nasal congestion and wheezing. Apart from HMPV, cases of Influenza A, Mycoplasma Pneumonia and Covid-19 are also being reported. Many people on social media have claimed that China has declared emergency in many places after the spread of the virus. Crowd is increasing in hospitals and cremation grounds. However, no such information has been given by China.

3. India expressed opposition to China’s county in Ladakh, said- some part of it is in our territory
India has protested against China claiming some areas of Ladakh as its own. The Foreign Ministry said that China is trying to create two new counties (states) in its Hotan province. Some part of this falls in Ladakh. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in the media briefing-
India has never accepted China’s illegal occupation of Ladakh. China’s announcement of a new county will not affect India’s sovereignty. Nor will China’s illegal and forcible occupation of this area be recognized. We have complained about this through diplomatic channels.
India raised two objections: Last month, China announced the establishment of two new counties, He’an and Hekang, in Hotan province. Some areas in these provinces are part of the Indian union territory of Ladakh. India has clearly said that this area is an integral part of India and China’s claim is completely illegal. Whereas, the second case is related to Brahmaputra river. China is building a dam on the Brahmaputra river, about which India has expressed objection.

4. Protest over Union Carbide waste in MP, two youths tried to commit suicide

What is the whole matter: 40 years after the Bhopal gas tragedy on the night of 2 December 1984, 358 metric tonnes of waste from the Union Carbide factory was taken out of Bhopal on 1 January 2025. It was packed in 12 containers and sent to Pithampur through a 250 km long green corridor, which will be burnt at Ramki Enviro Industries. This is what is being opposed. Actually, 5 thousand 479 people died due to gas leak in Bhopal.

5. Children will have to take permission from parents to create social media accounts, new rules will be made.
Now children below 18 years of age will be required to take the consent of their parents to open an account on social media. For this, the Central Government has prepared draft rules under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023. It also says that the data collection entity will also have to keep in mind whether the person claiming to be the mother or father of the child has any legal basis or not.
Government asked for suggestions from people: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in the notification that people can register objections and also give suggestions regarding this draft by visiting Mygov.in. People’s objections and suggestions will be considered from February 18.

7. Life imprisonment to 28 convicts in Chandan Gupta murder case, one was shot in Kasganj riots of UP.
Chandan Gupta was murdered six years ago during the Tiranga Yatra.
28 convicts were sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of murder of ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) worker Chandan Gupta in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh in 2018. Justice Vivekananda Sharan Tripathi of Lucknow NIA Court gave this decision. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the culprits against this decision, which was rejected by the court.
There were riots after Chandan’s murder: Chandan Gupta was murdered on 26 January 2018 in Kasganj. There were riots in Kasganj after his death. The situation had become so bad that the administration had to shut down the internet. There were riots at various places in Kasganj for about a week.
