1. Attack on Saif Ali Khan: Demanded Rs 1 crore; picture of the suspect surfaced

CCTV footage of the suspected attacker has surfaced. He is seen coming down the stairs.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife in his house late on Wednesday night. He lives on the 12th floor of Guru Sharan Apartment in Khar, Mumbai. The maid told that the thief entered the house and demanded Rs 1 crore. When Saif came after raising noise, he attacked. In the attack, the actor got injured at six places including neck, back, hand and head. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital in the night itself. Saif is now out of danger.

Saif was taken to the hospital by auto: The maid told that there were 3 female and 3 male servants in the house at the time of the attack. Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan live on the eighth floor of the same building. Both of them came up and took Saif Ali Khan to the hospital in the auto. There was no driver at home. No one knew how to drive an automatic EV. So had to call an auto.

Mumbai Police formed 20 teams: Mumbai Police has formed 20 teams to search for the attackers. All the teams have been assigned different tasks. 2. Approval to form 8th Pay Commission; Salary and pension of central employees will increase The Central Government has approved the formation of the 8th Pay Commission for central employees. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the recommendations of the commission will be implemented from 2026. Pay Commission is implemented every 10 years. This increases the minimum salary and pension of central employees. The 7th Pay Commission came into effect from January 1, 2016. About 1 crore employees were benefited from this.

What difference will the 8th Pay Commission make to salaries: There are 18 levels of salary of central government employees. The basic salary of Level-1 employees is Rs 18,000 with grade pay of Rs 1800. Which can be increased to ₹ 34,560. Cabinet Secretary level officers get a maximum basic salary of Rs 2.5 lakh under Level-18. This may increase to around Rs 4.8 lakh. Read the full news here…

NEET-UG will be in pen and paper mode; Exam in single day-single shift, date not announced yet According to the National Testing Agency, NEET UG exam will be held in pen and paper mode this year also. The exam will be held on the same day and in the same shift. However, NTA has not yet announced the exam date. Last year 23 lakh students had participated in it. Students have been waiting for a long time for the exam date to be announced and registration to start.

The registration process should have been completed in November: NEET-UG registrations were usually started in November and the examination was held in May. Why is the mission necessary?
