MP Police will get digital wireless set, calling and location tracking after 20 years

The Bhopal Police is going to adopt New Zealand -made digital wireless sets by changing the old wireless sets used since 2005 under smart policing. These sets will have facilities for calling, location tracking, frequency security and better battery backup. After successful use in Indore, it is being implemented in Bhopal.

These wireless sets are being ordered from a New Zealand company. However, in the first phase it has been started from Indore. In the second phase, Bhopal is going to provide this digital wireless set to the police headquarters.

2005 wireless sets are using police

Currently, the Bhopal Police is using the 2005 wireless set, which has revealed shortcomings in the past years, but now the urban and rural police will be seen with 350 new digital wireless sets equipped with new technology. This set has been made available to Indore a year ago.

A New Zealand tech company ready

Radio Police Inspector Manoj Bains said that a Tech company in New Zealand has prepared a digital set of wireless. From next month, this set will be seen in the hands of policemen in Bhopal. 300 small sets will be allocated to policemen, while 50 set dial 100 will be installed in vehicles.

No person will be able to match frequency

The police currently present with the police works on 800 MHz, while the new wireless handset will work on digital frequency. No person will be able to match the frequency and the most special thing will be better than before.

Its battery backup will also be good, which will also improve the dialogue of the police than before. All the new wireless sets will be made available to all dial 100, Charlie, Beat in -charge and traffic staff including all the police stations and beat personnel.

Motorola’s wireless set was found in 2005

Let us know that the average age of the current wireless set is 10 years. In 2005, the wireless sets manufactured by the mobile company Motorola were provided to the Bhopal police. The company had done their service maintenance as per the contract by 2015, they were to stop using the same year.
