State Bureau, Naiduniya. Bhopal. In view of the new challenges in front of the state police, the government has changed the examination method of sub -inspectors (SI) recruitment. Now there will be preliminary examination like Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC). If successful in this, there will be written examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PPT). Only after getting a minimum of 30 percent marks in PPT, the candidate will be called for interview.
- Earlier interviews were not taken. Now a merit list will be prepared by adding marks of written examination, PPT and interview.
- The state government has issued a notification regarding recruitment rules. With this, the way has been cleared for the recruitment of police sub -inspectors in the state.
- Sub -inspectors are going to be recruited after seven years. Preparations are for recruitment to about 500 posts including technical and non -technical.
- Now the process of recruitment from the Employees Selection Board (ESB) will start.
- However, now the staff selection board has to decide whether it is able to conduct the exam this year or not.
- Because the recruitment calendar for the year 2025 has already been released.
Syllabus changed: The ingredients will be known how many ready to deal with new challenges
The syllabus of the examination has also been changed. In the written examination, the police will also be asked questions about new challenges like cyber crime, communication technology, internet media, robotics, artificial intelligence, GIS, GPS etc. Apart from this, questions related to democracy and police, poverty and hunger, organized crime and terrorism will be asked.
This will be the exam plan
- First Phase – Preliminary Examination – A total of 100 marks will be asked in two hours. There will be no negative marking.
- Second Phase -1. Written Examination -There will be two question papers. Each question paper will have two sections.
- Each section will be of 150 marks. There will be a total of 600 marks in this way. All questions will be multiple choice.
- There will be a negative evaluation. 10 times the vacant posts will be called in the second phase examination.
- 2. Physical Efficiency Test- It will have a total of 100 marks.
- It will have 40 points of 800 meter race, 30 marks for long jump and 30 points for ball throw.
- Third Phase: Interview – It will have 50 marks. Three times the candidates of the vacant post will be called for this.
