MP Transport Department: Saurabh Sharma’s fellow constables also used to do dummy posting, there was corruption in the department

Four fellow constables working with Saurabh Sharma, who was a constable in the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department, were also fully active in the game of transfer-posting. These fellow constables used to handle the management of check posts for which Saurabh had taken the contract.

It is being told that Saurabh Sharma’s associates were also expert in getting dummy posting done, posting of officers at check posts was done on paper and work was done to private persons on the spot. In this way the recovery game was carried out with complete setup.

These four constables – Dhananjay Choubey, Hemant Jatav, Narendra Singh Bhadauria and Gaurav Parashar had influence over the entire transport department, whatever they wanted happened. Saurabh Sharma had taken retirement from the Transport Department, but on the strength of these four people, he used to run the check posts of the Transport Department.

Used to talk on WhatsApp calling

Saurabh Sharma and these four constables always talked to each other through WhatsApp calling. He had taken personal numbers to talk. For three-four years, these four constables were posted at different checkposts and had complete alliance with Saurabh.

Goods worth crores recovered

Even though Saurabh had been away from the department for the last one year, he used to get his work done in the department through them. All four of them represented him in the Transport Department. Let us tell you that goods worth crores were recovered in the Lokayukta raid at the house of former transport constable Saurabh Sharma.

Gold and cash were found in the car of his close associate Chetan Singh Gaur which was caught by the Income Tax team. A case has also been registered by the Enforcement Directorate in this matter. There is a stir in the transport department after this whole matter.

Commissioner called for Saurabh’s appointment file

Compassionate appointment of Saurabh Sharma is in controversy, the team of Lokayukta has also come to the transport headquarters here and gathered information regarding this. Transport Department head DP Gupta has sent the complete file of Saurabh Sharma’s appointment to Bhopal.

The appointment related documents in this file are being examined to find out how Saurabh got appointed to the post of constable in the transport department so easily. It has also come to light that in the affidavit given by Saurabh and his mother during appointment, they had given false information that no one else in the family is in a government job.
