Under the notification issued on December 31, recruitment is to be done on 158 posts, but the candidates are not satisfied with this. He is raising the demand to increase the posts.
Through social media, candidates have said that this time MPPSC is recruiting for the lowest number of posts. There is a need to increase these because more than one lakh applications come for the examination.
Competition among 200 for one post
In such a situation, there will be competition among 200 candidates for one post, whereas the Commission has already sent a demand letter to the departments regarding increasing the post. Increasing the post will be discussed in the meeting to be held next week.
Commission’s OSD Ravindra Panchbhai says that the decision to increase the number of posts is taken at the department level. A letter has already been written to these departments in this regard. Till now he has not given any guidelines regarding the posts. After receiving such letters, the department can increase the posts even before the examination. PSC 2025 exam will be held on 16th February.

Let us inform that the Commission has issued the notification of PSC-2025 and appointed 158 candidates including 10 SDM, 22 DCP, one Commercial Tax Officer, one Finance Service, two Assistant Directors Public Relations, 10 Additional Assistant Development Commissioners, 65 Child Development Project Officers, five Commercial Tax Inspectors. Invited applications for recruitment to the posts. Applications were accepted until January 17.
More than 700 posts are to be filled
Meanwhile, the candidates have started a campaign on social media for increasing the posts. We are mentioning the vacant posts of departments through posts. According to the candidates, currently more than 700 posts are to be filled in various departments.
The position is not clear from the Commission’s side
But last year the Commission had released the notification of PSC 2024 for only 50 posts. After protests, 60 posts were increased, then 110 posts were increased. The candidates demand that the number of posts should be increased in PSC 2025 also. The candidates had also raised this issue during the demonstration in December, but the situation has not been clarified yet by the Commission.
