I love my country very much, so I love many languages ​​of my country, so whenever I make a film and shoot in a particular field, I try to bring local humor in my films. Happy will run away, apart from husband and wife, you will also get to see that in my husband’s wife.
I keep my mother in mind while writing a film
I am not from the film industry. I am an engineering graduate, but I was fond of making films and I got into films. The movies I saw with my family, she stayed with me, especially with her mother. Used to discuss films with his mother. My father was strict discipline dear person and never used to discuss films but my mother has been very fond of watching films. Especially we enjoy comedy films a lot. This is the reason why I keep my mother in mind while writing a film or scene. The second thing is that I have always written about strong female characters because mother had a lot of influence on me. Till now I have not made any film in which the character of a woman is weak. My mother was from a small town and got mixed with my father in this big city. He had studied in Urdu and could not speak in English, he had problems while speaking in English. The character of Sridevi ji in the film English Vinglish was inspired by my mother.
Hard to make people laugh
It is difficult to make a film but the most difficult task is to make people laugh, especially to make people laugh in theater. You may find a scene fun and no one else. Humor molds itself over time. It all depends on what kind of experience we have got, which words, which lines make us laugh. Comedy changes from generation to generation. Children can laugh at something, but big people cannot enjoy it. It does not come with other feelings such as shock, fear, anger etc., but my effort is always to make a different kind of comic film.
Viewers understand intentions
I believe that the writing of films is much easier than live comedy because I have the characters made and I can control them. We cannot do this in live shows because we need response immediately. Due to which the definition of comedy changes completely. Despite this, as I said that when I write, I keep my mother in mind that what is the reaction of my mother on this line, then he makes me responsible. Our audience is very intelligent, they immediately understand your intentions. If your intention is clear and your purpose is to make the audience laugh, then they are ready to forgive. Because they know your intentions. If your intention is to increase the excitement or be popular immediately, the audience immediately understands it. Our country is rich in culture and we have experienced humor in many other forms of poetry, poetry and writing, which people have liked very much.
The new generation wants to be famous not special
