A heart-wrenching incident has come to light amid the ongoing assembly by-election (UP By Election 2024) in Karhal, Uttar Pradesh. It proved costly for a Dalit girl for saying not to vote for the Samajwadi Party. He had to pay the price for this with his life. It is alleged that a SP supporter killed a girl in Mainpuri just because she had asked to vote for BJP.

Murder for saying to vote for BJP
According to the information, accused Prashant Yadav and his another associate were pressurizing Durga, a resident of Mohalla Jatwan of Karhal police station area, to vote for SP. When the girl denied everything she had said and refused to vote for SP, Prashant Yadav along with his associate took the girl from her house and brutally killed her by giving her intoxicants.
Raising this issue, BJP leader Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has said that in Karhal, a Dalit daughter who was benefiting from the public welfare schemes of the BJP government was brutally murdered by SP Prashant Yadav and his associates. A terrible game of death was played with the Dalit daughter because she had asked to vote for BJP.

Dead body wrapped in a sack and thrown into water
After the murder, the girl’s body was sealed in a sack and thrown into the water. The family members of the deceased girl have revealed that accused Prashant was pressurizing her to vote for SP. On Tuesday the accused took him away from home. First the incident of rape was carried out and then she was murdered. On the complaint of family members, the police have arrested the accused Prashant Yadav and his associate. The body of the deceased girl has been sent to Mainpuri for post-mortem. Mother is in bad condition and crying.

Mainpuri SP Vinod Kumar said, “The body of a 23-year-old girl from Karhal was found this morning. Her father has filed a case against two people. The name of one of them is Prashant Yadav and the other is Mohan Katheria. Both His parents have been arrested and further investigation is underway to stop his daughter from voting for him.
