Mushroom Galouti Kabab Recipe
To make mushroom galouti kebab you need (ingredient required for mushroom galouti kebab)
- mushroom – 400 to 500 grams
- Onion (finely chopped) – 1 large
- Green chilli (chopped) – 1 tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
- Cumin powder – 1½ tsp
- Garam masala powder – 2 teaspoons
- salt as per taste
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Potato (boiled, peeled and mashed) – 1 large
- Roasted gram flour – 3 tbsp
- Paneer pieces – 3 tbsp
- Ghee and olive oil (any oil of choice)
Prepare mushroom galouti kebab like this (steps to make mushroom galouti kebab)
- Wash, dry the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces.
- Add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. When hot, add green chillies and fry until golden.
- Add finely chopped onions, fry them till they caramelize.
- Now add chopped mushrooms and fry until golden.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt and garam masala powder.
- Now mix it well. Then add chopped coriander. Mix and turn off the flame.
- Let it cool completely. Once cooled, pour into a blender jar or food processor.
- Add mashed potatoes, roasted gram powder and paneer. Make a smooth paste without adding water.
(If you feel that it is not grinding properly, you can add 3-4 tablespoons of water and grind it) - When it is ground, take it out in a bowl. Heat 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil or ghee in a pan on low flame.
- Meanwhile, shape the kebabs. Apply oil on your palms. Now take some kebab paste and give it a flat round shape. Do the same with the rest.
- Now put them in hot oil. Cook well until golden brown on one side (takes 5 to 7 minutes on low flame).
- Once done, gently turn it over and cook the other side until it turns golden brown.
- Check whether the kebabs are cooked or not. Take them out on tissue paper. Garnish it with cashew nuts on top.
- Then serve it hot with spicy green chutney. You can enjoy it with chutney in snacks. Along with this, if you want to enjoy it in breakfast and lunch, then prepare thin parathas of flour and enjoy it with it.
