The incident took place in Indira Nagar police station area of ​​North Lucknow. In this regard, Municipal Corporation staff Kuldeep Singh has lodged a complaint in the police station. In the complaint, he told that on the orders of the Mayor of Lucknow, he along with his team was confiscating the garbage trolleys illegally at 8 am on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, an unknown man was seen with two women on a cart. The women called Nadeem and Sheru.

Kuldeep Singh says that Nadeem and Sheru arrived with a crowd of 150 to 200 people. This mob started tearing the clothes of a female staff of the Municipal Corporation and snatched the gold chain around her neck. Other sweepers who ran to save the female colleague were beaten and their mobile phones were snatched away. The car of Food Inspector Vijeta Dwivedi, who was present at the spot, was vandalized. Their driver was pulled out of the car and beaten with the intention of killing him.

On the complaint of the complainant, an FIR has been registered against 150 to 200 unknown attackers naming Sheru and Nadeem. On all these, sections 191 (2), 191 (3), 121 (1), 132, 115 (2), 309 (6), 324 (4), 351 (2) 131, 74 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) Action has been taken under Section 7 of the Criminal Law Act 1932 along with Section 109.
