Disputed places of Kashi, Mathura and Sambhal

Muslim Rashtriya Manch has given a big statement in New Delhi today. Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) appealed to all the Muslims of the country that while respecting the statement given by Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat about 142 crore people in the national interest, Muslims should also show a big heart and take India on the path of development. A resolution should be taken.

MRM’s national convenor and media in-charge Shahid Saeed said that the courts of the country are supreme but the disputed religious places should be resolved through dialogue. Due to this, the unity, integrity, harmony, brotherhood and harmony of the country is maintained and there is no mutual rivalry. Therefore, the call of the Forum is that wherever there is a dispute going on in the court between two parties, then both the parties should mutually communicate and reach “out of court settlement”, then it will be better for any better society.

Big statement on Kashi, Mathura and Sambhal

The National Convenor Board of the Manch announced that through dialogue, support should be given to handing over the disputed structures built at places like Kashi, Mathura and Sambhal to the Hindu community while restoring the historical places of worship of Hindus. Along with this, the forum said that such mosques where prayers are not being held due to some reason or which are lying deserted, should be handed over to Muslims so that they can re-establish them and populate them.

Paganism is not permissible in Islam

On the basis of Islamic principles, the forum made it clear that idolatry (idol worship) is not allowed in Islam. Offering Namaz in mosques where broken idols have been found or in places where there is historical, social or direct evidence of the existence of temples is against Islamic principles and is an impure place for Namaz. Namaz is not accepted at such a place. Citing the Quran and Hadith, the forum said that building a mosque on forcibly occupied land is against the principles of Islam.

Support of many Muslim organizations

There is a big program of the stage in Lucknow on 4th January. Just before that, on Friday morning, an online meeting of the forum was held to discuss the Lucknow meeting and decide the agenda. In which people from 70 places including 20 states and 6 union territories participated in the forum meeting. The meeting was presided over by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, which was attended by many small and big Muslim organizations and their leaders from across the country.

In this historic meeting, Women Intellectuals Group, Sufi Shah Malang Organization, Youth Education and Madrassa Institute, World Peace Council, India First, Hindustan First Hindustani Best, Gau Seva Samiti, Environment and Life Safety Institute, Jamiat Himayatul Islam, Kashmiri Tahafuz Organization and Kashmir Representatives of service union were present. All the National Convenors, State Convenors and Co-Convenors of the Forum participated in this meeting and supported the proposals of the Forum. All the speakers proposed to hand over the disputed places of worship to the Hindu community following Islamic teachings and principles of brotherhood.

Forum’s initiative on these sensitive issues

  • On the basis of historical evidence, traditional and direct evidence, evidence found in excavations, the disputed sites should be handed over to the Hindu community.
  • Muslims should be appealed to follow Islamic principles and not offer namaz at places which are disputed or built by demolishing other religious places.
  • The government should be demanded to restore the disputed sites through constitutional measures.
  • If the problem cannot be resolved through dialogue or talks with the government, then the court’s decision should be paramount. Just as the court’s decision in the Ayodhya case was universally accepted.
  • In Islam, construction of a mosque is considered permissible only if it is on undisputed land, which has been donated by a person or organization.
  • Waqf means that the land is completely dedicated to the worship of Allah and there is no dispute, forced occupation or illegal action on it.
  • The importance of waqf land for a mosque is because according to Islamic teaching, the place of worship of Allah should be established on a pure and just basis.
  • If the land is disputed or has been built by snatching it from someone, then that mosque will not be considered correct as per Islamic belief.
  • In Islam, mosque has been called the house of Allah, so it is the responsibility of every Muslim to establish it in a pious and just manner.

Hindus and Muslims are one by ancestors, traditions and civilizations

Manch member Thakur Raja Rais said, “The Manch has tried to spread the message through the “Come Connect with the Roots” campaign that the Hindus and Muslims of India are one through their ancestors, traditions and civilizations. The Manch believes that That even though religions may be different, the soil of India connects both the communities with a common history and tradition. Our ancestors, caste, clan, traditions, language etc. were all, are and will be in common Hindustani.
