In the violence, a group of rioters were seen raising inflammatory slogans with the aim of spreading tension in the area.

Police arrested Mastermind Faheem Shamim Khan on Wednesday in communal violence on March 17 for burning an effigy of Aurangzeb in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He has been sent to police custody by 21 March.

Faheem Khan gathered over 500 rioters and promoted violence. The rioters also tried to remove the clothes of the female policeman and touch them incorrectly during the clash.

This information came to light in the FIR registered at Ganeshpeth police station. The rioters took advantage of the darkness of the night near Bhaldarpura Chowk and committed indecent acts with the female officer.

Porn gestures to women policemen

Apart from molestation, other women policemen were tried to intimidate women officers on duty by making porn gestures and ugly comments.

The Rapid Control police officer posted at the scene immediately reported the incident to the senior officials. After the complaint, a case was registered against the miscreants.

After the violence in Nagpur, barricading has been done near Aurangzeb’s grave in Sambhajinagar. The names, mobile numbers and Aadhaar cards of tourists visiting Aurangzeb are being examined.

Know why there was violence in Nagpur

On March 17, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) performed in Nagpur. During the performance, a green cloth filled with cow dung was burnt. According to VHP, it was a symbolic grave of Aurangzeb.

Violence erupted in the palace area of ​​Nagpur at 7:30 pm after the video of this incident went viral. Stoning and sabotage began. The miscreants pelted stones at the houses and vandalized dozens of vehicles parked on the road.

Police was also attacked. DCP Niketan was injured by Kadam ax attack. The police released tear gas shells. There was another clash in Hanspuri area near Old Bhandara Road between 10.30 pm and 11.30 pm.

Curfew was imposed in 11 areas on March 18 after violence in Nagpur. 33 policemen were injured in the violence, out of which 3 are DCPs. 5 common people are also injured, one of them is admitted in ICU. The rioters burnt 12 bikes, several cars, 1 JCB. Police arrested 50 people on charges of riots.

At the same time, the security of Aurangzeb’s grave has been increased in Sambhajinagar. Barricading has been done on the paths leading to the tomb. Every visitor is being investigated.
