Jharkhand Assembly Elections Result 2024: There are 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand, one of which is Nala assembly seat in Jamtara district. An interesting contest can be seen on Nala assembly seat in 2024. On this seat, BJP has given ticket to Madhav Chandra Mahato, who is considered a strong candidate in this area. Whereas CPI has made Kanai Chandra its candidate, who is in the election field to raise the flag of his party in the area. Apart from this, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has fielded Rabindranath Mahato, who is in the fray to strengthen his hold on this seat. Jharkhand Lok Jan Morcha (JLKM) candidate Raghubir Yadav is also in the political fray in this election. A tough competition is expected between all these candidates and the results on 23rd November i.e. today will make it clear whose luck will shine and who will be defeated.

Nala assembly seat is part of Jamtara district and comes under Dumka Lok Sabha constituency. This seat has been important since the beginning of Jharkhand state. When Jharkhand state was formed in 2005, the first assembly elections were held in this region. In that election, veteran leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Rabindranath Mahato had won and he defeated senior BJP leader Satyanand Jha by a close margin. After this victory, Rabindranath Mahato got the status of MLA. This story of victory and defeat on Nala seat has been quite interesting, and the electoral environment here is always a big challenge for political parties.

In the 2019 assembly elections, JMM Rabindranath Mahato had registered a landslide victory from Nala by getting 61356 votes. Rabindranath Mahato defeated BJP’s Satyanand Jha who got 57836 votes. JMM got 35% of the total votes. In the 2014 assembly elections also, JMM’s Rabindranath Mahato had won from Nala by securing 56131 votes. Rabindranath Mahato had defeated BJP’s Satyanand Jha who had got 49116 votes. JMM got 33.7% of the total votes. JMM has once again fielded Rabindranath Mahato, while BJP has changed its candidate. In such a situation, it is expected that this time JMM may face a tough competition from the BJP candidate.
