About one hundred and fifty Hindu families have been upset for the last several days in the Sharma Toli of Shadipur Bhutha village in Baiyi block of Purnia. Local people allege that the Muslim side has closed the way to their house. Due to Muslim colony and their personal land around the village, these people are unable to reach their home.
The situation has become so bad that the sons and daughters of these families are not even getting married. It has also become difficult to take sick people to the hospital. Villagers say that earlier they used to come and go by private route, but now the 100 meter route has been closed due to a small piece of 12 decimals.
Local people said that they had given up to one lakh rupees to the land owner for the way, so that the problem could be solved. But later, under the pressure of Muslim society, they were returned and the way was not found. Now these people are completely surrounded due to the closure of the road from all sides.
The villagers also alleged that the Muslim side also prevents them from worshiping and playing loudspeakers. He says that this is also stopping their religious freedom. Fed up with this problem, people first pleaded in the SDM court. There was also a decision in their favor, but later the civil court overturned the decision and the Muslim side won.
In a conversation with Opendia, Santosh Kumar said, “In the investigation of SDM Madam and CO Saheb, the need for the way was considered. The SDM ruled in favor of the victim’s families, but the civil court overturned the decision. ”
Santosh Kumar says that the Muslim side is adopting aggressive stands. Earlier the owners of the land had agreed and it was decided that they would be given money in exchange for the land. He also took 1 lakh rupees, but due to the pressure of other Muslims, he returned the money and has been adamant on not giving way again. Santosh Kumar says that local Muslims are showing bullying. He is not being heard in the police station too. Now these families have sought help from District Magistrate Kundan Kumar.

There are more than one hundred and fifty families here, yet the problem is not solved. He said that a letter was written several times to the police station and the zonal officer in this case, but no action was taken.

Meanwhile, videos related to the troubles of local people are going viral on social media. A woman alleged that the Hindus do not let the idol go for immersion. Muslims also disturb the worship. The woman alleged that Muslims say that Hindus raise the slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’, so they will not be given.

Suresh Kumar said that there was an agreement on the second route in the civil court, but that path has not been found yet. This is the reason that the Hindu side is constantly pleading with the administration about the problems of the road. However, he said that the idol immersion was done at a pre -fixed place, and there is no such thing as communal tension in the present time.
