A video viral viral on social media claimed that two teachers of the college argued with Nepali students.
Staff and the university have apologized for misbehavior with the protesting students at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) campus in Odisha. The demonstration took place after the suicide of a Nepali student at the university.
A video related to the performance was also revealed. In the video, Manjusha Pandey, a university professor, says that we are feeding and teaching more than 40 thousand students for free. At the same time, a female employee Jayanti Nath shouted and said- it is equal to the budget of your country.
The protests started in the college campus, when BTech (Computer Science) third year student Prakriti Lamsal in KIIT was suicide on 16 February. It was alleged that his fellow students had abused him.
However, Jayanti Nath also said that this was the answer to this, which said that India and KIIT are poor.
KIIT released apology, two staff removed KIIT also publicly issued a letter apologizing. It said that two university officials have been removed due to their irresponsible statement. However, the university has not written his names.

Students say that despite complaints, the university did not take action against the accused. The students also alleged that the university also tried to suppress the case.
