New Delhi railway station On Saturday night, the passengers came to catch their train like normal days. If someone had to go to his house, someone came to catch the train to go to Mahakumbh. There was a different joy on the faces of the passengers and everyone was just waiting for their train on the platform. However, suddenly a crowd of passengers gathered at 9:30 pm and there was a stampede in a short time. The sounds of screaming started coming from everywhere, everyone was just running to save their lives. The atmosphere of chaos remained for a long time. At least 18 people died and more than 12 people were injured in this stampede at 10 pm. The condition of 9 of which is said to be critical. The injured have been admitted to different hospitals in Delhi.
- There was a crowd of passengers to catch the train going to Prayagraj on platform numbers 14 and 15.
- There are at least three children of those killed in the stampede.
- Railways announced a compensation of 10 lakh compensation for the family members of the deceased.
- 2.5 lakh rupees will be given to those who were wounded wagged,
- 1 lakh rupees will be given to the general injured.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that four special trains have been run to take the crowd to Prayagraj and now the situation is under control.
