There was fog in Jind and Palwal on Tuesday morning. Visibility in Jind was less than 20 meters. The Meteorological Department has predicted that cold wave will continue in Haryana till January 3. Due to this, the minimum temperature may drop by 3 to 5 degrees.
If we look at the 24-hour data, Ambala and Karnal were the coldest days. The maximum temperature of Ambala was recorded at 12 degrees. The mercury in Karnal was 13.2 degrees. This is 7 degrees less than normal. On the other hand, a drop of 0.7 degrees was recorded in the night temperature. Balsamand of Hisar had the coldest nights, the minimum temperature recorded here was 6.5 degrees.
There was light fog in Palwal in the morning. However, it subsided as the day progressed.

Due to the changed weather patterns in Haryana, the air in most of the districts has improved. AQI of Charkhi Dadri was 158, Gurugram 138, Faridabad 136, Rohtak 110, Panchkula 105. Meteorologists say that with the weather remaining dry in 1-2 days, there will be an increase in the pollution graph. Pollution levels will increase especially in NCR districts.
Chances of rain on 4-5 January
Dr. Chandra Mohan says that the weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally dry till January 3. On January 1 i.e. tomorrow, a western disturbance is becoming active over the mountains. However, its effect will not be visible in Haryana. Due to its effect, the cold may reduce slightly and there may be a slight drop in night temperature.
The Meteorological Department has indicated that there will be a change in the weather from January 3. During this period, there may be chances of rain in some areas of the state on January 4 and 5.
