Rajinikanth Praveen is a resident of Nalanda. His in-laws house is in Samastipur. His wife runs a school. Sister-in-law is also a teacher. Rajinikanth has been posted in Bettiah for 3 years.
The team also reached the house of DEO office clerk Anjani Kumar in Bettiah, but found the house locked. Everyone is absconding. Raid is going on at total 7 locations. A 40-member team is involved in the raid.

Raid in schools of Bagaha-Samastipur-Darbhanga also
Raids are also going on in a school of Rajnikanth Praveen in Valmiki Nagar of Bagaha. The investigating agency has raided the in-laws house of the education officer in Bahadurpur, Samastipur.
District Education Officer Rajnikant Singh’s mother-in-law Nirmala Sharma is a retired teacher, while his wife Sushma Sharma runs Tirhut Academy High School in Samastipur. Sister-in-law Poonam Sharma is a teacher in Shri Krishna High School, Samastipur.
Vigilance team is scanning the register of Birla Open Mind School in Darbhanga. Rajinikanth Praveen’s wife Sushma Kumari runs private schools in Darbhanga, Samastipur and Bagaha.

20 years of service, property worth more than Rs 2 crore
According to the monitoring department, Rajnikanth Praveen has acquired movable and immovable assets worth about Rs 1.87 crore since 2005. This wealth does not match his 20 years of service.
This property has been acquired illegally. Rajinikanth has been in the job since 2005. He has worked as an education officer in Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhubani and other districts. He is accused of acquiring illegal wealth by misusing his position during his 19-20 years of service.
