The ongoing war between Israel and Hamas (Israel-Hamas War) is not ending. Hamas’s acting Gaza chief Khalil al-Haya said in an interview with Al-Aqsa TV on Wednesday that a hostage exchange with Israel would be possible until the war in the Palestinian territories ends. There will be no compromise.
Reuters report According to , Khalil al-Haya told Al-Aqsa TV during an interview, “There can be no exchange of prisoners without ending the war.
Haya said, “Why would the Resistance, and especially Hamas, return the prisoners (hostages) if the aggression has not ended?”
Netanyahu held responsible
Haya led the group’s negotiating team in talks with mediators from Qatar and Egypt and blames the lack of progress on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who blames the Islamist group for the stalled talks.
He said, “There are ongoing contacts with some countries and mediators to revive this file (negotiations). We are ready to continue those efforts, but on the side of the occupier for a real end to the aggression.” Willpower is more important.”
