CBSE UBOARD Exam 2026: The CBSE has decided to change the pattern with the aim of removing students from the stress of examinations under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. CBSE’s 10th and 12th examinations will be held twice a year from the academic session 2025-26.
CBSE UBOARD Exam 2026: 10th and 12th examinations of CBSE from Ranchi-Celebrating Session 2025-26 will be twice a year. Under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has decided to change the pattern with the aim of removing students from the stress of examinations. This draft will be made public by 24 February to take suggestions from parents, teachers, students and academics. Further outline will be decided on the suggestions found in it. The new session of CBSE Board will start in this April. Notification of 10th and 12th examinations will also be issued twice a year by the board.
Initiative to create stress -free teaching environment
The CBSE official said that an initiative has been taken to create a stress -free teaching environment for the students. According to this initiative, CBSE gave a presentation to the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to conduct a board examination twice a year. Dharmendra Pradhan has written on X that ‘Creating a stress -free teaching environment for students has been an important focus of the government. Examination improvement and improvement is an important step in this direction.
Help will be helpful in reducing the stress of exam
Taking this one step forward, a detailed discussion was held with Secretary School Education, CBSE President and other CBSE officials on conducting CBSE exam twice a year. The draft scheme of these discussions will soon be laid by CBSE for public consultation. This improvement is another important step towards the implementation of the major provisions of NEP and will help reduce examination stress among students.
